Shipping policy

 To help lower our carbon footprint and limit waste, all items are packed with recycled shipping materials. 

All orders (including international)  are shipped by USPS unless a different method of shipping is selected at checkout. USPS Domestic Ground includes up to $100 in insurance coverage. Please note: this is subject to change without notice from USPS. Additional insurance can be added at checkout. For international orders, additional insurance is highly suggested. 

All orders will be shipped within 7-10 business days (m-f, no weekends or holidays) of ordering with some exceptions. Custom orders, mystery boxes and monthly boxes will have specific ship information included in the listing description or post-order communications. 

International shipping will take longer than domestic shipping. Depending on where the order is being shipped, the delivery time may be extended. 

Please note that once your order is picked up by the shipping service (USPS/Fedex/UPS)  we are no longer in control of what happens between our shop and your mailbox. Here are some tips to ensure things go as smoothly as possible:

  • Review your shipping and contact information before finalizing your purchase, please take the time to review your information, especially if you use the autofill feature. Check things like, postal code, unit or apartment number/letter, email address, street direction/quadrant (ex: 3rd Street Southeast or SE). Please note: we are not responsible for incorrect or old addresses entered in at the order screen. If there is an issue, please contact us within 24h of the order being placed for us to update your information. Verification of your address may be required (Ie: a drivers license) to help avoid fraud. 

  • Are you sending someone a gift? Make sure your recipient's shipping address is correct and that the right billing address is added (this one should be yours). You can also send us an email to let us know your order is a gift so we do not include a receipt.

  • Need something by a certain date? While USPS does their best to stay within their estimated time frames for delivery, sometimes things go wrong and delays can happen - especially during times of serious weather. Sometimes delays are unavoidable. Shipping delays are outside of our control, unfortunately. Please plan ahead whenever you can by ordering well in advance,  and keep in touch with us if there's some information we may need to better help you.

  • We are not responsible for stolen or lost packages that have been marked as delivered. If packages are shipped with insurance, we are happy to help assist with getting a claim started with USPS or the shipper. Minimum shipping is sent with USPS Ground Advantage, which includes insurance for up to $100 (this is subject to change without notice from USPS). Additional insurance can be purchased based on the value of the goods purchased.
