Astrophyllite (anthrophyllite) & Garnet Towers

Full mineral name: Anthrophyllite, astrophyllite, garnet & eudialyte

This mineral is commonly called astrophyllite, but is most likely actually Anthrophyllite. These are incredibly similar minerals, separated by colour and inclusions.

Astrophyllite comes from the Greek "astron" for 'star' and 'phyllon' for "leaf", in allusion to its habit of starburst-like sprays and mica cleaves. Astrophyllite forms golden blades and bright blue/silver flecks that radiate outwards like a star.
