These are sizable stars hand carved from high quality bumblebee jasper layered with incredible coloring! Bumblebee Jasper is a stone of strength, courage, transformation, and opportunity, so keep these stars at the forefront of your personal space to welcome in needed change. Place bumblebee jasper in your office or living room to help bring confidence and courage, increasing your manifestation.
Bumblebee Jasper is currently no longer being mined, so snag a piece of history while you can! As of 2024, the mine where it is found has become nearly tapped out, with the last bits being very low quality. High quality pieces like these are now collector items!
The banding and layering, which resembles a common bumblebee is caused by inclusions of sulfur (yellow), calcium & Aragonite (white), Orpiment & Realgar (orange), and Pyrite (black). Part of what makes bumblebee jasper special is also its high arsenic and sulfur content. This mineral was only recently discovered in the 1990’s in Papandayan Volcano, West Java Province, Indonesia.
These are mostly all flat stars, with the exception of Number 10 being a puffy star! These do not self stand. They are standing with the help of mineral putty. If you'd like yours to stand, museum gel or mineral putty is a great option

**SAFETY INFORMATION**
Keep out of reach of pets and children. The bioavailability of the sulfur and arsenic is very low in polished bumblebee jasper, however, it is still advised to wash your hands after handling and to avoid contact with your mouth/eyes. If the stone chips or breaks, please use PPE like gloves or a mask to clean it up and discard any small pieces. You can also choose to put the pieces in a closed jar to safely enjoy the mineral. Do not get the stone wet or clean with water. This increases the bioavailability.
